A career built on solving real problems
Kynwin began her insurance career at IAG, spending three years in the sales team for State Insurance in a direct-to-consumer domestic role. From there, she moved into broking at Gallagher, where she progressed through personal lines and small business broking, with a view to moving into mid-market broking. She also gained experience at Insurance Resources before joining Gerrard's. Kynwin holds her Level 5 qualification, obtained in early 2024, and brings a well-rounded perspective having worked on both the direct and broking sides of the industry. She is deeply committed to the broker-client relationship, valuing it as a genuine long-term partnership where both parties grow together. Originally from Johannesburg, South Africa, Kynwin relocated to New Zealand in 2017 at the age of 17 and now calls Auckland home.
